Rotary Art Spectacular Project

32nd Annual Art Spectacular

Thursday 7th April 2011 - Saturday 16th April 2011

This year's 32nd Rotary Art Spectacular - kicked off on Thursday 7th April and ran through till Saturday the 16th April.

The Venue was at the Riverside Centre

- 123 Eagle Street, Brisbane.

The Major Beneficiaries are:

•  The Heart Foundation

The Heart Foundation is Australia's leading heart health charity and has played a pivotal role in keeping Australia's hearts beating over the last 50-years.  Yet despite our huge gains, heart disease is still the nation's number one killer of men, women and young children.  The Heart Foundation relies on the support received from corporate organisations, individuals and events such as the Brisbane Rotary Art Spectacular to help continue to raise the profile of our lifesaving work with this devastating disease which is responsible for one death every 23-minutes.

•  Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC)

ROMAC provides medical treatment for children, under the age of 15, from developing countries in the form of life saving and dignity restoring surgeries not accessible to them in their home country.  Partner with ROMAC and help the children.

•  The Rotary Clubs of:

- Hamilton

- Brisbane High-Rise  and

- Stone's Corner

These three Rotary clubs use the funds raised for their normal distribution to a variety of worthwhile community organisations and projects.

Each year since 1979, the Rotary Art Spectaculars have proven to be a high profile event that has provided opportunity for Partner Sponsors to contribute to and support the community.

Beneficiaries of this year's Art Spectacular are the Heart Foundation, Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC), and a number of community projects of the Rotary Clubs of Brisbane High-Rise, Hamilton and Stone's Corner.

The event is funded by partner programs that are designed to maximise awareness of the sponsor within the business sector and the general community.

The art exhibition is open to the business sector as well as the greater general community to view and purchase works displayed within one of Australia's architectural iconic buildings designed by Award Winning Architect and Designer Harry Seidler - The Riverside Centre.

If you wish to take this opportunity to participate in the 2011 Art Spectacular, and talk about your proposed sponsorship and network requirements, e-mail Stone's Corner Rotary for further information. stonescorner@rotary9630.org
